These were some of my favorite sketches from that old sketchbook last year. Combined to make an awesome hand shrine thing pointing to a David Bowie type creature. Oh and a little Lord of the Rings tag down there.



Originally from a 1 minute sequential pose set. I loved the way it turned out so much I finally got the chance to mess with it. First tombow, then photoshop.

Summer 2011

Here's the first post in a series of lost sketches from last summer. I recently found the sketchbook under my bed after all this time so I thought I'd work on them a bit and share. Also, don't ask what they're saying. Only they know.

First painting sold

This went into my first show and sold on the first night. Such an amazing opportunity, thanks everyone who came to opening night. Again, this is the view from my window in my apartment. Oil on wood. About... 16x20.

Vis Dev for VG 1

The few interesting things I did in Vis Dev for Video Games 1. Something I learned in this class... I don't think I have what it takes to design video game characters. I like subtle and I certainly don't have much of an eye for drawing ultra mechanical robots. Oh well.

Layout 2011

It's taken a while, but I finally got around to editing these for posting. These were the best layout drawings I came up with this last semester. I've never worked so hard for a class in my life and I hope that the work ethic I learned last year will carry over into my professional life. Thank you to so many people that got me through the struggle, you know who you are. I have to thank Oliver Sin by name though. That guy is amazing and I would recommend him to anyone as a teacher. Enjoy!
